The short version: Use Jettd fairly, pay for Pro if you want Pro features, and you can cancel any time. We'll do our best to keep the service running reliably.
Jettd is a travel planning and family check-in service operated as a sole trader business in Australia. By creating an account or using Jettd, you agree to these Terms of Service.
If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use Jettd.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Jettd. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are between 13 and 18, you confirm that you have your parent or guardian's permission.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Jettd uses Google OAuth for authentication — we recommend keeping your Google account secure with two-factor authentication.
You may not share your account with other people or use it to represent someone else without their consent.
If you are charged in error or experience a billing issue, contact admin@jettd.app within 14 days and we will review your case. Refunds are issued at our discretion in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
Under Australian Consumer Law, you may be entitled to a refund if the service fails to meet consumer guarantees. This policy does not affect your rights under applicable consumer protection law.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
When creating an account, you may opt in to receive product updates, new feature announcements, and offers from Jettd by email. This is entirely optional and is not required to use the service.
By opting in, you agree that we may contact you about Jettd-related updates and offers. You can withdraw this consent at any time by clicking "Unsubscribe" in any email or emailing admin@jettd.app. We will never sell or share your email address with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
You own the trip data, entries and information you create in Jettd. By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to store and display that content to provide the service to you.
We will not use your personal trip data for marketing purposes or share it with third parties beyond what is described in our Privacy Policy.
When you generate a family view link, you are choosing to share certain trip information (your last check-in location, city, message, trip progress and itinerary) with anyone who has that link.
You are responsible for who you share family view links with. You can revoke a link at any time. Once revoked, the link no longer works.
You must only share family view links with people who have consented to receiving your location updates.
Family view links are not password protected. If a recipient forwards the link to another person, that person will also be able to view your location data, trip progress and itinerary. Jettd has no way to prevent or detect link forwarding.
By generating a family view link, you accept full responsibility for any unauthorised or unintended access that results from the link being shared onward by a recipient.
Before generating a family view link, you are required to acknowledge the following in the app:
Jettd accepts no liability for any harm, loss, privacy breach, or other consequence arising from a family view link being shared, forwarded, or accessed by any person other than the intended recipient. This includes but is not limited to: the link being forwarded by a family member, the link being accessed by an unknown third party, or the link being discovered through any other means.
If you do not wish to accept this responsibility, do not generate a family view link. You may still use all other Jettd features without generating one.
We aim to keep Jettd available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may occasionally need to perform maintenance or updates.
Jettd is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law and applicable consumer protection legislation, Jettd's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid in subscription fees in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for loss of data, loss of profits, or indirect or consequential losses arising from use of Jettd. This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
You may delete your account at any time from within the app. All personal data will be permanently removed within 24 hours.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with reasonable notice where possible. If your account is terminated for cause, no refund will be provided.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of Jettd after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of South Australia, unless you are a consumer in the UK or EU in which case you may also bring claims in your local courts.
